Why aren't my available times showing up on the booking page?

If your available times aren't showing up on your booking page, it's likely due to one of your settings. Here are common scenarios and their corresponding resolutions.

1. Set to Private

Either your calendar or service is set to Private viewing only, meaning it will not show up on your public online booking page. To fix this, go to Settings > Calendars > Click the calendar name to Edit, then ensure that the Public calendar is enabled.

Next, go to Settings > Services > click the calendar name to Edit, then ensure that "Visible to the public" is enabled.

2. Service Duration

The service or class/workshop duration exceeds your available hours. For example if your duration is 5 hours, but you're only available for 4 hours that day, no availability will show up. To fix this, simply shorten your service duration in Settings > Services > Edit > Duration. Or you can open up more availability on your calendar.

3. Service Hours

In your service settings, you may have edited the Service Hours to "unavailable" for one particular time or day of the week. To check this, log in to the Bookedin web app, go to Settings > Services then check the settings on each of your services. Learn more about Service Hours →

4. Break Time

In your services, you may have added a "break time" which is handy for adding extra time at the end of each appointment to clean up, take notes or just have a little rest before your next client. Example you may have a 50 minute appointment with a 10 minute break. The online booking calendar must have availability for the entire duration, ie 60 minutes. If only 45 minutes are available, no appointment times will appear.

5. Lead Time

Your calendar may have a short lead time; this is the minimum notice required before booking online. It helps prevent last-minute bookings and is handy if you need time to prepare for appointments with the details on the link: Prevent Last Minute Bookings

6. Booking Limit

Your calendar may have a short booking limit, which specifies how far into the future your clients can book online. To fix this, go to Settings > Calendars > then increase your Booking Limit. A common setting is 365 days. For more details, please visit Preventing Future Bookings

7. Blocked Availability

Check your private calendar to ensure the availability is not closed or blocked by the calendar sync.

Tip! Go to Settings > Customize and turn on "Allow booking appointments outside of business hours (private calendar only)". This feature makes it handy for your staff to book appointments even if the availability is closed.
