Rescheduling

Method #1: Drag-and-Drop

The easiest way to reschedule is to simply find the appointment, class or workshop in your calendar, then drag it to a new time or date. Doing this will send your client an automatic notification with the new details. 

Method #2: Booking Details

The second way to reschedule is great if you need to change the staff member or edit the booking details. Here's how: 

  1. Click or tap on the appointment, class or workshop in your calendar, then click Change
  2. Now adjust the details. You can change the date, time, calendar, duration, and edit all of the client information here too. For classes/workshops you can also modify the maximum allowed attendees here. 
  3. Click Confirm Change to save your edits. If the booking start time was changed, Bookedin will send an automatic email and/or text (depending on your settings) to your client with their new booking details. 
  4. If it's a Recurring appointment class or workshop, you'll need to select Apply Changes to:
    • This appointment
    • This and following appointments

NOTE: 

  • You must enable internal double bookings if you're rescheduling to a time when your availability is blocked off.
  • You'll only be able to re-assign an appointment to a new service provider if that person is allowed to perform the service. Learn how to do this here.
