Text reminder monthly limit & top-up pricing

Bookedin offers automatic text confirmations/reminders on the Plus & Pro plans. Each plan includes a set number of free text messages per month. Text message usage resets monthly. If you reach your limit during the month, you'll receive an email alert and an option to purchase a top-up.

What happens if I run out of texts? 

If you run out of texts during the calendar month, your clients will no longer receive text messages about their bookings. (They’ll still get the emails if you have them enabled in your email settings.) Our system will send you a notification and you can do any of the following: 

1. Turn on Automatic Text Top-Up. 
   • To do this: Go to Account > Billing 
     (must be performed on the Bookedin website, not mobile app)
   • Check the box called, "Enable Automatic Text Top-Up"
     Doing this makes sure that even if you go over the cap, your text message reminders will continue sending to your clients at an additional charge. See pricing for your country below.  
2. Reduce the number of text message reminders sent to your clients by the system. Learn how. 
3. Simply wait until the next calendar month and your free text messages will start again on the 1st day of the month. 

Pricing: text message top-ups

If you turn on Automatic Text Top-Up, you'll only be charged if you exceed the monthly texting limit. Here's the pricing for top-up texts: 

• 🇺🇸 USA: $10 USD/month for 1500 messages
• 🇨🇦 Canada: $10 CAD/month for 600 messages
• 🇬🇧 United Kingdom: $10 USD/month for 250 messages
• 🇦🇺 Australia: $10 USD/month for 200 messages
• 🇸🇪 Sweden: $10 USD/month for 150 messages

• Can be purchased by logging into the Bookedin website (not the mobile app)
• You can cancel/unsubscribe any time
• You'll only be charged if you exceed the monthly texting limit (see thresholds for your country above). 
  Example: Customers in the USA get 500 free texts with the Plus Plan. If they turn on this feature, they'll only be charged if they exceed 500 texts, at a rate of $10 per additional 750 messages.
• You can set up email alerts so you'll know exactly when you've used up all of your top-up texts
