Collect client addresses

If you need to collect your client's address, you can add a new custom form field! These form fields can be set to appear on your public client booking page (screenshot below) or only in the private staff booking view.

NOTE: Initial setup must be performed via BookedIN web login (not mobile app).

Option 1: Collect client address every time they book:

This works best if the client address is different each time they book an appointment. Ex: for in-home consultations or outdoor photo shoots. 

  1. Log in to bookedIN website (initial setup must be done on website, not mobile app)
  2. Go to "Settings > Customize" page (top menu)
  3. Under the "Custom Booking Forms" section, click the "Add custom form field" button
  4. Set "Field Type" to "Address" (screenshot below)
  5. Type in your "Field Name" and then add some "Help Text
  6. Set "Frequency" to "Ask every time". Every time someone books online, they will be asked to fill in their address.
  7. Set "Visibility" to your preferred setting. 
  8. Click "Save"

Option 2: Collect client address one time only

This works best if you only need to ask for a client's address once. If clients book multiple times, the system recognizes they are an existing client (based on the name & email address they type into the form), and they won't be asked to provide their address again. 

  1. Log in to bookedIN website (initial setup must be done on website, not mobile app)
  2. Go to "Settings > Customize" page (top menu)
  3. Under the "Custom Booking Forms" section, click the "Add custom form field" button
  4. Set "Field Type" to "Address" (screenshot below)
  5. Type in your "Field Name" and then add some "Help Text
  6. Set "Frequency" to "Ask only once". If the system recognizes the client as a new person who has never booked with you before, they will be asked to provide their address. Existing clients won't see this. 
  7. Set "Visibility" to your preferred setting. 
  8. Click "Save
