Switch to Bookedin from WIX
Using Wix for bookings and ready to move on? Here's what to export so our team can get you set up in Bookedin.
What you'll need
- An active Bookedin account. Don't have one yet? Start your free trial.
- Access to your Wix account (owner or admin level).
- Your export files saved in CSV format.
Follow these steps
Step 1: Export your client list from Wix
- In Wix, go to your Contact List.
- Click the More Actions icon.
- Choose Export Contacts.
- Select By Label (not selected by default).
- From the dropdown, choose All Contacts.
- Select Regular CSV file as the format.
- Click Export to download the file.
Step 2: Export your booking history from Wix
- Go to the Bookings List in your Wix dashboard.
- In the Date Range fields, enter your preferred date range to include all past and upcoming bookings.
- Click Search.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to make sure all bookings are loaded.
- Click Download CSV at the top of the page.
Step 3: Export your services from Wix
Wix doesn't have a self-serve export for services. Include your Wix booking page URL in the email you send to Bookedin (see Step 5) and our team will pull your service information from there.
Step 4: Export your staff members from Wix
Wix doesn't have a bulk export for staff members. Instead, include the following information for each team member directly in the email you send to Bookedin (see Step 5):
- Full name
- Email address
Step 5: Send your files to Bookedin
Email your exported files to support@bookedin.com from the email address associated with your Bookedin account. Include your Wix booking page URL and any staff member details in the body of the email.
Our team will take it from there and follow up within approximately 1–2 business days if they have any questions.
Tip: While you wait, set your calendars to private so no new online bookings come in during the transition. Also disable reminders and follow-up emails to avoid clients receiving duplicates. See Import your data from another provider for step-by-step instructions.
You're all set. Once you hear back from our team confirming the import is complete, you can go live and start taking bookings.
