Switch to Bookedin from Rosy Salon Software
Time for a change? Getting your Rosy Salon Software data over to Bookedin is straightforward — here's what to grab and where to send it.
What you'll need
- An active Bookedin account. Don't have one yet? Start your free trial.
- Access to your Rosy Salon Software account (owner or admin level).
- Your export files saved in CSV format.
Follow these steps
Step 1: Export your client list from Rosy
- Open Rosy Salon Software and go to the Reports section.
- Select Clients from the list of report options.
- Run the report to generate the client data.
- Click Export to Excel to download the file.
Step 2: Export your booking history from Rosy
- Go to the Reports section in Rosy Salon Software.
- Select Appointments from the available report options.
- Set your desired date range.
- Run the report to generate the data.
- Click Export to Excel to download the file.
Step 3: Export your services from Rosy
- Go to the Reports section in Rosy Salon Software.
- Select Services from the list of report options.
- Run the report to generate the service data.
- Click Export to Excel to download the file.
Note: If you run into trouble exporting your services, include your Rosy booking page URL in your email to Bookedin instead and our team will pull the information from there.
Step 4: Export your staff members from Rosy
Rosy Salon Software doesn't have a bulk export for staff members. Instead, include the following information for each team member directly in the email you send to Bookedin (see Step 5):
- Full name
- Email address
Step 5: Send your files to Bookedin
Email your exported files to support@bookedin.com from the email address associated with your Bookedin account. Include any staff member details in the body of the email.
Our team will take it from there and follow up within approximately 1–2 business days if they have any questions.
Tip: While you wait, set your calendars to private so no new online bookings come in during the transition. Also disable reminders and follow-up emails to avoid clients receiving duplicates. See Import your data from another provider for step-by-step instructions.
You're all set. Once you hear back from our team confirming the import is complete, you can go live and start taking bookings.
