Switch to Bookedin from Mindbody
Don't let a data migration hold you back. Send us your Mindbody exports and our team will handle the heavy lifting.
What you'll need
- An active Bookedin account. Don't have one yet? Start your free trial.
- Access to your Mindbody account (owner or admin level).
- Your export files saved in Excel format.
Follow these steps
Step 1: Export your client list from Mindbody
- Go to the Reports tab in Mindbody and select Clients from the left menu.
- From the filter at the top left, select Mailing List.
- In the List Clients menu, choose the group of clients you want to export.
- Under Client's Opt-in Status, select All Clients.
- From the third row, choose whether to include Clients Only, Prospects Only, or Clients and Prospects.
- Select your preferred sorting method.
- Click Generate to preview the results.
- Click Export to Excel to save the file to your device.
Step 2: Export your booking history from Mindbody
- Go to the Reports tab and select Staff from the left menu.
- From the filter at the top left, select All Staff Reports then Schedule at a Glance.
- Set the date range you want to export.
- Click Go to preview the results.
- Click Export to Excel to save the file to your device.
Step 3: Export your services from Mindbody
Mindbody doesn't have a self-serve export for services. Include your Mindbody booking page URL in the email you send to Bookedin (see Step 5) and our team will pull your service information from there.
Step 4: Export your staff members from Mindbody
Mindbody doesn't have a bulk export for staff members. Instead, include the following information for each team member directly in the email you send to Bookedin (see Step 5):
- Full name
- Email address
Step 5: Send your files to Bookedin
Email your exported files to support@bookedin.com from the email address associated with your Bookedin account. Include your Mindbody booking page URL and any staff member details in the body of the email.
Our team will take it from there and follow up within approximately 1–2 business days if they have any questions.
Tip: While you wait, set your calendars to private so no new online bookings come in during the transition. Also disable reminders and follow-up emails to avoid clients receiving duplicates. See Import your data from another provider for step-by-step instructions.
You're all set. Once you hear back from our team confirming the import is complete, you can go live and start taking bookings.
