Same-day only booking

Same-day only booking is popular in the medical industry and is really easy to set up with Bookedin. 

Doctors, pediatricians, and other health care professionals prefer to limit how patients can book appointments online. Sometimes it's better to only let people make a booking the day-of, instead of letting people book days, weeks or even months in advance. 

How to set up same-day online appointments: 

1. Sign in to your Bookedin business account (web, iPhone, or Android) 
2. Go to Settings > Calendars
   
3. Tap on your calendar to edit 
   
4. Change the Booking Limit to 1 day 
   (Note: If you're using the web app, this setting is located under "Online Booking Options")
   
5. Double check the Business Hours are correct
6. Make sure the Lead time is set to 0 hours
7. Save
8. Finally, let's add some instructions so your patients know what to do. Go to Settings > Services
   
9. Tap on a service to Edit or create a new service
   
10. On the edit screen, paste this text into the Description:
    Please choose a time to book today. Appointments must be made on the day of. If you don't see an available time today, please check back first thing tomorrow morning to make an appointment to see the Doctor.
    
11. Hit save

You're done! To see your changes, check out your public online booking page. It will now look something like this:

NOTE: After setting this up, you will still be able to book patients on any desired date within your private scheduler. The above settings simply control how patients can book themselves in via your public online booking page.
