Add or edit calendars
With Bookedin your clients can book appointments online based on your availability. This is controlled by your calendar settings. If you're a solo operation, you'll have just 1 calendar. If you have a team, each staff will need their own calendar. Follow the steps below to add or edit calendars.
Note: The number of calendars will determine your billing plan.
Mobile App Instructions
(scroll down for desktop/tablet)
- Launch the Bookedin mobile app (iOS or Android)
- In the bottom menu, tap Settings > Calendars
- Now tap to edit an existing calendar or add a new one

5. Assign the Services Provided to the calendar.

Desktop & Tablet Instructions
2. In the top menu, go to Settings > Calendars
3. Click Add New Calendar or click on any existing one to edit
4. Now fill in your calendar details. An explanation of all settings is listed below.
All of the Settings Explained:
Calendar Picture: Upload your staff's profile picture, which can be seen on your online booking page
Calendar Color: Set automatically, or choose a color (appears on private scheduler only)
Calendar Name: This could be a person's name, the name of a room, or a piece of equipment. This is displayed on your public Online Booking Page
Short Name: Appears on your private scheduler only
Notification Email: Where booking and cancelation notification emails get sent
Available for online booking: Makes the calendar public on your Online Booking Page or private
Booking Interval: This controls how the spacing of appointments on your public online booking page. Ex: A 60min interval means people can choose bookings at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, etc.
Lead Time: This is the minimum amount of notice you need prior to someone making a new booking. Helpful to prevent or allow last minute bookings.
Booking Limit: Cuts off bookings at a certain date in the future.
Notify me: can set the notification when bookings get created or canceled by your team or by the clients themselves.
Business Hours: These are the hours available every week. Note: one-time-only availability changes for things like holidays are made directly on your calendar. Want to control availability by service? See Service Hours.
Services Provided: Check or uncheck services based on the calendar's service offering.
User Access: Assign staff to view the specific calendar you're editing.
