How do I send an announcement to my clients?

At this time Bookedin does not have a client newsletter feature. The ability to send a mass-email blast to clients is a popular request, and we hope to add this in the future. If you'd like to add your vote to our features request list, please send us a quick email!

For now, we have a few good workarounds you might want to try:

Client Email Newsletter

If you want to email ALL of your clients, this can be achieved by "exporting" your Bookedin client list, then using it in your favorite email tool. For example Mailchimp or Constant Contact. Follow these steps to export your client email list.

Add announcement to your booking page

If you have an important announcement, you can add it to your online booking page. That way all clients can see it when they book online. Here are the steps:

  • Login to Bookedin web: scheduler.bookedin.com
  • Go to Settings > Services (top menu)
  • Select your first service in the list to Edit
  • Type your announcement into the Description or the Category field. If you use category it must be applied to all services, but it will show up in a nice bold colour at the top. Here is an example:

Add announcements to your client emails

If you have important information to send to all clients, you can add it to all of the client emails. This announcement will then appear on all client confirmations and reminders. This is helpful if you have updated your policies, terms, business location, or anything you need clients to know before their appointment. Follow these steps to add announcements to the automatic client emails.
