How to Disable PayPal eChecks

A PayPal eCheck is an option your clients can choose when paying online. These take between 3 and 5 business days for the money to appear in your PayPal account, which can be annoying for certain businesses. 

Thankfully you can avoid this delay by blocking "eCheck payments" in your PayPal settings. This will make it so clients can only pay you via immediate credit card, debit, or PayPal transactions. 

How to Disable eChecks on PayPal:

1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com
   
2. In the top-right menu, click the "Gear" icon, then choose "Account Settings"
   
3. Choose "Payment Preferences" then beside "Block Payments" click the "Update" link
4. Under "Block the following payments", check the box "Pay with eCheck transfer for all website  payments except eBay". This will block all future eCheck payments.
