Change duration

If you have an existing appointment, class or workshop booked in your calendar that needs to be shorter or longer than usual, you can easily edit the duration.

Change duration of appointments:

1. Log in to your Bookedin business account (web, iPhone, Android)
2. Find the appointment you’d like to update on your calendar. You can either: 
   • Click and drag the appointment to make it longer. Or
     
   • Click on the appointment, then click Change
     
   • Type your new Duration  
     
   • Click Confirm Change to save.  

Change the duration of classes or workshops:

1. Go to Settings > Classes/Workshops
2. Click the pencil icon to edit your class
3. Edit the Duration then hit Save
4. All future sessions of the class will get updated with the new duration in your calendar.

Clients will not be notified of duration changes. The Bookedin system only alerts clients if you reschedule the date or start time.

Note: If you want to change the duration of a specific service for all future bookings, it is best to edit the service or class/workshop settings.
