Performing manual refunds

You can perform manual refunds inside of your Bookedin account via the client's profile or on their booking. Here are the steps: 

  1. Log in to Bookedin web (note: refunds can't be performed via mobile app)
  2. Click on the Clients menu (left side of screen)
  3. Find the client name and click View details & history
  4. Click the Payments tab
  5. Here you'll see a list of all payments for this client: pending requests, refunded, paid and canceled. Find the payment you're looking to refund, then click Refund. The system will automatically send your client their refund plus an email notification.
  6. Another way to perform a refund is via the calendar. This only works if the payment was originally tied to an appointment, ex an upfront deposit payment. To do this simply locate the appointment, class or workshop on your calendar, click on it, then click refund.
